NFL Week 13 Preview

Nfl week 13 is a high-stakes affair that features multiple matchups between teams with playoff hopes. Some of the biggest games on this weekend’s slate include a clash between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Cleveland Browns, a meeting between the Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals, and an NFC East battle between the Giants and Commanders.

A rematch between the AFC’s top two seeds is also one of the most anticipated games on this weekend’s slate, and both teams have something to prove in this one. The defending champions will be tested at home against an opponent that has won three straight and has been dominant on the road.

The Eagles are atop the NFC East and are coming off a huge win over their division rivals, but a trip to face the Titans is a big test for a team that’s only 1-4 in its last five road games. Despite that, I think Philadelphia will find a way to win at Tennessee in this matchup.

Another key NFC East game is the Buccaneers’ rematch with the Saints. The Buccaneers are 5-6 and have a half-game lead in the division, so a victory would give them a slight edge. The Saints are 4-8 and in last place, so a win here could help them make up ground on the division title race.

Defending NFC West champions the Los Angeles Rams are also on the verge of breaking a long losing streak, but they’ll have to do it on the road. The Rams have lost 13 straight road games, but Jared Goff has been playing progressively better as the season has progressed. This is the perfect time for L.A. to snap its longest losing streak in franchise history and re-establish itself as a top-five team in the NFC.

This game is one of the most enticing matchups on this weekend’s schedule, and it’s especially intriguing because it’s a showdown of top-tier quarterbacks. Both Patrick Mahomes and Elijah McGuire are ranked among the best in the NFL, so their performances should be plenty entertaining.

The Steelers are a team on the rise and are making a lot of noise at home, but their performance in the win over the Browns was a big concern. They’ll have to do much more if they want to clinch a spot in the postseason, and this is the game to do it.

They’ll have to overcome a pair of rookies who are proving themselves as starting wide receivers. They’ll have to also overcome a tough defensive line that’s been prone to injuries and poor play in the past, but the Steelers have shown they can come back from deficits this season.

That said, they’re still a bit vulnerable on defense when traveling, allowing nearly 90 passing yards more on the road than at home. That means the Rams will have to make a lot of plays to keep this one close.

The Baltimore Ravens had a bright outlook heading down the stretch with one of the league’s easiest schedules, but a 10-9 loss to the Jaguars and a knee injury to Lamar Jackson left them suddenly looking very uphill. That’s not a good look for a team that’s been ranked in the top four in the NFL in most offensive categories.
