NFL Rush End Rankings – Who’s Thatace Williams to Beat This Week?

Let’s face it, the NFL is full of great running backs. Each week a new one or two of the best are selected and given prime time slots on game day. But what makes for a great NFL rushing title contender? Here are some factors I looked at last year that may help you this year.

First, the rookie sensations have to be at least decent. A lot of folks expect greatness in these rookie running backs, but usually they don’t live up to expectations. The best NFL rushing titles were not won by rookies, but by players with significant experience. That means players like Joe Montana, LaDanian Tomlinson, Emmitt Smith, etc. had to have good to excellent seasons before becoming true contenders for the title.

So having realistic expectations for your player or team members is very important. The best NFL rushing leaders must not only average a reasonable amount of yards per carry, but they must hit the end zone more often than the other teams. The offense needs to score points to win and the NFL rushing leaders have to produce yards after contact to keep the chains moving. This week we will look at the running back position and how the picks for this year impact the championship picture.

The first four NFL rushing leaders to make the cut this year are Jamaal Williams, Christian McCord, rookie phenom Tyreek Hill, and so many others. Williams and McCord are the obvious favorites due to their off season performances, but there are other good choices. I am expecting Tyreek Hill to have an outstanding debut, just as Christian McCord did last year, but expect the same level of production as Williams. So the first four should be picked accordingly, regardless of the fact that each one has a legitimate claim to being the best of the bunch.

Who else is shaping up to join the top five? The running backs that have had a great year statistically and who look like they can be the breakout players of the NFL season are DeAngelo Williams and rookie phenom Dakktor Holmes. Both running backs have a strong case to earn the top rushing title this year. Williams has been absolutely unbelievable in the passing game, averaging over 300 yards per game and making some incredible plays downfield. His presence alone makes him the clear top pick.

Holmes is coming off of an incredible breakout season where he carried the Eagles to the playoffs. He has rushed for over 1,000 yards and added several receptions as well. Expecting big things from Holmes this year, the expectations are high for teammate rookie DeMaurice Smith as well. The dynamic duo of Williams and Smith will be the stars of the team, and they are capable of great things if they can get on the field and contribute. Here are my NFL rushing predictions for week 14: the Eagles will move forward and win their division | backs | fantasy | season | rb} If you want a solid NFL team for your fantasy draft, you need to take a look at the running back situation. Leagues are lowering their standards each week and the Eagles just spent the first week of the year blazing the trail. Don’t expect anything less than a dominant performance from the backs and another huge day out in front of the other teams. If you want your best chance at a fantastic fantasy finish, take a look at this Eagles tandem now.
